SHIPPING WITHIN AUSTRALIA

Standard Delivery

Postage is free for all domestic orders over $50.00.

For orders under $50.00 the following postage rates apply:

  • $9.90 Australia-wide; and
  • $7.90 Brisbane CBD and surrounding suburbs.*

All first time customers will have their order delivered with “Signature on Delivery” option. This is due to a high rise in fraudulent online transactions. With every subsequent order you will have the option to choose how you wish for your order to be delivered.

Express Delivery

Express postage is free for all orders over $120.00.

For orders under $120.00 a flat postage rate of $15.00 applies.

Parcels Over 5kg

Where an order exceeds 5 kg in weight, an additional cost may apply. We will contact you first to approve any additional charge.

Which delivery method do you use?

We ship with Australia Post, therefore your parcel can be delivered directly to your home or to a PO Box, Locked Bag or Parcel Locker. Alternatively you can redirect your parcel to suit you. Please visit Australia Post website here to find out more.

What happens once my order is placed?

All goods remain the property of Lavender Living until paid for in full.

Once you have placed your order with us please allow between 6 - 72 hours for it to be dispatched (i.e. orders placed on a weekend will be dispatched the next business day).

All in stock orders placed before 10:00 AM are dispatched on the same business day.

All in stock orders placed between 10:00 AM and midnight are dispatched on the next business day.

You will receive an email with a tracking number once your parcel is on its way. Please ensure that your name and address are correct as we can not be held liable for lost, displaced or undelivered parcels due to incorrect information supplied. If a parcel is lost, or returned to us, due to insufficient or incorrect details, the cost of the re-ship will be charged back to you.You will also not qualify for a store credit or refund.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Depending on your location, orders may take between 1 - 10 business days to arrive. In some circumstances, such as current COVID-19 crisis, natural disasters, pre-Christmas period etc. it may take longer for your parcel to arrive.

Please note, due to COVID-19 Australia Post has currently suspended next day delivery guarantee for Express Post parcels. Express Post is still available, and will continue to be prioritised as the fastest option for customers, but may not always meet the next business day delivery standard.

Below is a summary of delivery times across Australia when using regular postal service.

SE QLD: 1–3 working days.
NSW/ACT: 3–5 working days.
VIC/SA: 5–7 working days.
WA/TASMANIA METRO AREAS: 5–7 working days.
REMOTE AREAS: 7–10 working days.

What does Authority to Leave mean?

If you select “Authority to Leave” option it means that your parcel will be left in a safe place, if one is available, or a notification card left and the parcel taken to a nearby Post Office if no safe place is available. Please ensure you have a valid ID when collecting your parcel.

Please note that if you select 'Authority to Leave' then you do so at your own risk and we will not be held liable for misplaced or stolen parcels.

What does Signature on Delivery mean?

If you select “Signature on Delivery” option it means that your parcel will need your signature and name captured when accepting your parcel. Your parcel will be taken to a nearby Post Office if you are not at home to sign for the parcel. A notification card detailing how to collect your parcel will be left for you. Please ensure you have a valid ID when collecting your parcel.

What if my parcel goes missing or is returned back to Lavender Living?

All parcels are sent via tracked parcel number. You need to report any missing or undelivered parcels to us within 20 business days from the day of shipment within Australia. For international orders please report to us within 40 business days from the day of shipment.

If your parcel is left at your premises but goes missing, we will not be held responsible if you have selected Authority to Leave. You will not receive a refund or a store credit.

If your parcel is returned to us due to incorrect delivery details given to us, we will not be issuing a refund or store credit for shipping charges. If you choose to have the order shipped to you again, the cost of the re-ship will be charged back to you.

If your parcel goes missing due to an error on behalf of Australia Post, we will issue a refund as per the invoice charges.

If you do not collect your parcel within 10 business days from an attempted delivery, and a parcel is returned to us, please contact us to discuss your options. We will not be issuing an automatic refund for a failure to collect a parcel.

If you would like your parcel re-delivered, re-shipping and return charges (cost established by Australia Post) will be charged to you before a parcel is re-sent, even where items have previously qualified for a free delivery.

How do you ship flammable or other dangerous goods?

Some items such as perfumes and nail polish are flammable and as such will not be accepted by the airlines. This means that if you have these items in your cart your order will be shipped via Australia Post Standard Shipping method (road service delivery) within Australia.

International shipping or shipping to Australia External Territories is not available for these items.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

*Due to the current uncertainty caused by COVID-19 we have paused shipping to all international destinations.

All International Orders are shipped with Australia Post and the shipping rates start from $20.00.

Please note, we are not responsible for any custom duties that may be payable on arrival of your parcel. Please ensure you are familiar with import duties, clearance procedures and prohibited items list specific for your country. If a parcel is returned to us because conditions of entry into a country are not met, or you have provided an incorrect address, the cost of re-ship will be charged to you and shipping charges will not be refunded and no store credit will be offered.
